🖥️ Client Installation

Due to platform limitations, the web version cannot save local offline files and only offers basic bookmark management. For the full experience, we recommend using the desktop or mobile clients.

Clients are available for Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and browser extensions (Chrome / Edge).


Windows Client

Installation steps:

  1. Double-click the installer and follow the wizard to complete the installation.
  2. If Windows SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC," click "More info" → "Run anyway."
tip

Windows may trigger a security warning because the installer is not code-signed. This is normal; you can trust and proceed with the installation.


macOS Client

  • Choose the processor:

Installation steps:

  1. Double-click the DMG and drag Clipora into the Applications folder.
  2. If you see "unidentified developer" on first launch, go to "System Settings → Privacy & Security" and select "Open Anyway."
  3. Grant the necessary system permissions (clipboard, file access, etc.) as prompted.
tip

Not sure which chip you have? Click the Apple logo at the top left → "About This Mac" → check "Chip" or "Processor."


Android Client

Installation steps:

  1. After downloading, tap the APK to install.
  2. If the system blocks installation, temporarily allow "Install unknown apps" in settings and try again.

iOS Client


Chrome Extension

Offline installation steps:

  1. Open the extensions page: chrome://extensions/
  2. Enable "Developer mode" in the top right corner.
  3. Unzip the downloaded package, click "Load unpacked," and select the unzipped folder.

The steps above apply to Chromium-based browsers such as Chrome, Brave, and Arc.


Edge Extension

Offline installation steps:

  1. Open the extensions page: edge://extensions/
  2. Enable "Developer mode" at the bottom right.
  3. Unzip the package, click "Load unpacked," and select the unzipped folder.

Web Version

Note: The web version is limited by browser sandbox restrictions and cannot save offline files. It only supports basic bookmark management.
